At Lifting and Handling Services we have a team of professional, experienced and highly competent individuals waiting to work with your company.

Seamus Phelan is the Managing Director of Lifting and Handling Services which was established in 1990. He has 38 years’ experience as a health and safety consultant and during this time, he has managed a diverse range of projects. He has endeavoured to ensure that LHS is at the forefront in Ireland for testing and certification of materials handling equipment. He is also a certified trainer and accident investigator. He is involved in the day to day running of the company and is always available to offer advice and information to existing and prospective clients alike.

LHS surveyors carry out all statutory inspection and certification / maintenance of materials handling and safety equipment. The team comprises of Peter Behan (Chief Surveyor) who has over 40 years’ experience in the industry along with his team experienced in the following areas: Design, Manufacture, Crane Systems, Safety Systems, Pneumatic and Hydraulic Systems, Stacker and Fork Truck Services, etc. The team are highly experienced and trained in all relevant areas.

Our office team are dedicated and highly experienced individuals. Michelle Moloney works as office manager, while Mary Palmer is our sales manager, and working together with the LHS accounts team they ensure that our company continues to strive to be the best in its field for another 25 years.
